Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year. I am excited to begin this new chapter with you and look forward to the learning, growth, and accomplishments that lie ahead for every child in Hazel Crest School District 152½.

This year, our district proudly embraces the theme From Vision to Impact: Building. This theme reflects our commitment to moving beyond planning and ensuring that the work we do each day results in meaningful, visible progress for students, families, and our school community. We are focused on building strong instructional practices, building supportive learning environments, and building partnerships that elevate student success.

As we begin the year, our priorities remain centered on what matters most:

• Delivering rigorous, high‑quality instruction that supports academic growth for every learner
• Strengthening attendance and engagement, recognizing that consistent participation is essential to student achievement
• Ensuring safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and supported

Our teachers, support staff, and administrators have spent the summer preparing for a strong start. Their dedication reflects our shared belief that every student deserves excellence—every day, in every classroom.
