Dear Barack Obama Learning Academy Families!
Greetings and welcome to a brand new school year at Barack Obama Learning Academy! We are thrilled to see each of our students on their first day of school!
I hope your families are healthy and safe in light of the Coronavirus Pandemic. To continue keeping our students and staff safe, please follow the protocols below:
- Please follow the mask mandate authorized by our District. Students must wear masks at all times by students and staff members; with the only exception for eating. The mask must be in place before entering the building.
- Students will be temperature screened daily upon arrival.
- Additional desk shields are available in the classroom, but not for the entire class.
- We have 3 scheduled busses for our school this year: #1/#5… #2… and #3/#4
- School doors open at 8:00 a.m. School dismisses at 2:45 p.m.
Parents and guardians, please note: only students who are fully registered will be admitted and assigned to a classroom teacher. Full registration is a must. We will have staff to assist you under our purple registration tents in the back of the school building this week.
Your children are in the care of awesome education professionals who are here to serve, teach and love the students! As a staff, we work as a team and assist each other and families in the best way possible!
Together, as a team and as an Obama family, we will soar to greatness by growing every day in our teaching, in our learning, and in our interactions with one another! This is our vision!
