The safe arrival and dismissal of our students is extremely important to both parents and staff at Barack Obama Learning Academy. It is with this interest of safety and security that the following procedures be implemented.
School Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 2:45 P.M. Doors open at 8:00 A.M.
Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Cars will enter the FRONT of the building from 164th Street and remain in a single file line. Cars will continue the flow of traffic and exit on 165th Street. Staff members will assist car riders entering via Door 1 and Door 3.
*Please do not drive or drop-off in the school parking lot. The lot is reserved for bus drop-off/pick-up ONLY.
Walkers: Walkers will safely enter and exit the building via Door 9.
Bus Riders: Please have your child ready prior to their scheduled pick up time. Bus riders will enter/exit via Door 15.
Please be sure your child has the student health certification forms filled out daily.
Temperature checks will be given daily.
